The vase gets its name from Dora Maar, a French photographer, poet, and painter – but above all, she was known as the lover and muse of the artist Pablo Picasso. Designed in the surrealist style, the vase is decorated all around with relief-like female faces and looks good from every angle. While its exterior has a matte porcelain finish, the interior of the vase is coated with a glossy lacquer. Like the other works of the world-renowned ceramic designer Jonathan Adler , the Dora Maar vase is handcrafted in South American workshops.
